Pre-Primary Parents’ Orientation-

Teachers briefed the parents about the school system and its functioning before the beginning of the new academic session

Big Assembly for Nursery & Jr. Kg Parents & students-

Pre-Primary teachers took big assembly for three consecutive days so that the children can enjoy and settle down in the school environment. The teachers showcased their teaching practice through songs and action rhymes

30^th April to 6^th may

Teachers’ Training-

Pre- Primary teachers went through a week long training session. They were exposed to innovative methods of teaching. Teachers shared their knowledge and understanding through discussions. They planned activities and created resource.

Pre-Primary Section Reopens- After a long summer vacation, Pre-Primary children joined the school

Pre- Primary Founder’s Day Celebration –

Pre-Primary section celebrated school birthday with enthusiasm. They danced and sang songs and wished a very happy birthday to school. The principal and the heads planted sapling on this auspicious occasion and started the plantation drive.

Pre- primary classes planted saplings on the campus as part of the school birthday celebrations

PTM- Parents Teacher Meeting

Teachers conducted the PTM in the classrooms. Parents were given time to check their child’s personal portfolio and work. The teachers apprised the parents about their child’s progress

21^st & 22^nd July 2016

Field Trip to Kankaria Aquarium-

Sr.KG children went for an educational trip to the aquarium as part of their unit – ‘Underwater Animals’ for a real life experience

8^th to 12^th August 2016

Pre-Primary Fancy Dress Competition-

Nursery – The theme was ‘Animals’ - Children came dressed as various animals and enthusiastically participated. Some of them enacted and spoke a few lines.

Jr.KG – The theme was ‘On the road’ – Children came dressed as things and people they see on the road and most of them confidently spoke about what they were personifying.

Sr.KG- The theme was ‘Community Helpers’-Children enacted and most of them spoke with clarity about the role they play as community helpers.

Raksha Bandhan Celebration

Pre-Primary children came beautifully dressed in colourful attire. Children enthusiastically celebrated Raksha Bandhan with their friends in school.  Chocolates were distributed on the occasion.

Pre- Primary Section- Big Assembly

ASIA school Principal, Mr. Scaria Thomas was invited for the big assembly held by Pre-Primary Section. It was a special occasion to acknowledge and applaud the class rank holders for the year 2015-16. Our principal gave away the prizes to the rank holders.

Nursery Parental Workshop

ASIA Principal, Mr. Scaria Thomas conducted an effective parenting workshop for the Nursery parents. It was an hour long workshop where sir spoke about the parent’s conscious involvement in their child’s healthy growth. He also stressed that it is our, parents and schools combined effort which can bring happiness and positive change in the life of a child

Janmashtami Celebration

ASIA celebrated Janmashtami with great zeal. Pre-Primary children enacted the birth of Krishna and some came dressed as Radha and Krishna. On this auspicious occasion Primary section children sang krishna  bhajans. Prasad was distributed to all after the puja.

Jr. Kg Field Trip to Indroda Park

An educational trip was organised for Jr. Kg children as a part of their Plant & Animal unit. Children were sent to get a real life experience. Children also enjoyed visiting the dinosaur park at Indroda Park.
